By Plane

From Düsseldorf Airport you can reach Fraunhofer IML directly by using suburban train S1 direction Dortmund Universität and then changing to H-Bahn (overhead railway) direction „Technologiepark”. The final stop of the H-Bahn is directly opposite the main entrance of Fraunhofer IML. You can also use the regional train ("Regional Express") to Dortmund Hbf, which makes fewer stops than the suburban trains, and the follow the instructions below (Hbf to IML).

Directions with public transport from Dortmund HBF to IML

Take S1 from Dortmund HBF (main railway station) direction Bochum. Take exit „Universität“ and change directly to H-Bahn (overhead railway) direction „Technologiepark”. The final stop of the H-Bahn is directly opposite the main entrance of Fraunhofer IML.
