The brewery C.& A. Veltins GmbH & Co. KG has expanded its brewing and logistical capacities at the Meschede-Grevenstein site in recent years. Detailed planning of a distribution center

Fraunhofer IML assisted Festool GmbH in validating a detailed distribution center planning. Within the scope of the project, the Festool concept was validated and evaluated against an IML concept variant. As a result, a detailed plan was developed jointly with Festool, which includes a hybrid concept with a clearly defined highly automated as well as highly flexible warehouse area.
