Transfer Projects

The path from research to industry forms one of the greatest challenges in the development of new, innovative solutions. Transfer projects are designed to bridge the gap between these two worlds, with industrial companies working hand in hand with Fraunhofer IML to transfer developments from applied research into practice, thus creating new paths for process optimization.

Completed Transfer Projects

Together with Elabo GmbH, LogWork developed an ergonomic logistics workstation that flexibly adapts to the individual employees and the different needs within logistics processes.

In cooperation with Hüdig + Rocholz GmbH & Co. KG, the »iPackAssist« packaging workstation was developed, which combines an intuitive packaging assistant with optimization software for efficient package packing.

In the transfer project AR-supported merchandise management processes (ARGeWa), a combination of data glasses and scanner glove was developed to simplify and improve inventory processes.
