Research halls and laboratories

Our test centers and demonstration areas for logistics

In our research halls and laboratories, we develop practical solutions for logistics. The unique research infrastructure allows us not only to talk about ideas, but also to implement them directly. In the various facilities for applied logistics research, prototypes are developed for industry and logistics companies, packaging and load carriers are tested, the latest technologies are tried out, and actual solutions are developed directly on site.

We are turning logistics into the central scientific discipline of the industrial future.

What we offer

Prototype Center

The prototyping center offers a manufacturing space for developing prototypes and technologies in collaboration with companies.

XR Lab

The XR Lab is researching virtual and augmented reality for logistics and serious games for logistical processes.

PACE Lab

The PACE Lab is a testing ground for developing and testing autonomous systems.

Packaging Lab

The packaging lab is where the testing of loading units, large load carriers, transport packaging and pallets takes place.

Picking Lab

At the Picking Lab, the latest picking technologies are tested and can be tried out by companies.

Exoskeleton Lab

The Exoskeleton Lab is researching the potential and acceptance of exoskeletons in logistics and industrial environments.
