Elastic pricing is based on current demand and improves resource utilization and sustainability. This reduces energy costs, optimizes processes, and strengthens small and medium-sized enterprises.

TRUSTyFOOD shows how blockchain makes food and agricultural chains more transparent, traceable, and sustainable. The aim of the EU project is to organize the fragmented image of blockchain in the agricultural sector and make it usable for agrifood logistics and food distribution. The solution: a European blueprint with standards, a roadmap, and services that provides practitioners with a clear basis for decision-making for future-proof blockchain implementations along the supply chain.

DUH-IT is working with H2-Trust to use open-source blockchain technology to digitally standardize the proof of origin of green hydrogen along the supply chain. GreenCraft combines AI and craftsmanship to create a digital service ecosystem for environmental projects in North Rhine-Westphalia. The platform coordinates multiple trades, funding agencies, and private and commercial clients. It strengthens the environmental economy, addresses skills shortages, and establishes binding quality standards.

Minerva stands for Skilled trades 4.0 in practice. The joint project is developing a platform that combines virtual consulting, problem diagnosis, augmented reality guidance, and AI chatbots. Small craft businesses are making their services more flexible in terms of space and time. They are testing new business models. The platform builds on preliminary work from „Athene 4.0“ and „ARBAY“.

ForestGuard demonstrates how open source and blockchain simplify verification for deforestation-free coffee supply chains. The project combines geodata, proof of ownership, and process data, supports due diligence declarations in accordance with EUDR, and strengthens data sovereignty along complex, cross-border value chains.

With SKALA, Fraunhofer IML shows how AI and blockchain can be integrated into logistics solutions. SiMBA optimizes dynamic pricing, InstaSCAN digitizes documents, and GreenComplAI increases sustainability through networked data platforms. All of these open-source tools can be integrated in a modular fashion and strengthen digital sovereignty in value chains.
