BWS Label

In close collaboration, Debrunner Acifer AG is working with Fraunhofer IML, and together they developed the »bws®label«. The electronic and energy-self-sufficient label is equipped with a bistable display on which each product is described and the minimum inventory as well as the order quantity are shown. Furthermore, by pressing a button at the rack or bin, it is possible to order new products because it also provides an instant connection to the e-shop. Immediately after ordering, the symbol on the label changes to shopping basket and informs about the current delivery status. The bws®-tools ensure that only necessary products are delivered, which enables a reduction of procurement costs and efficient structuring of the order processes.
