CargoSecuring Assist – automated, fast, and documented

Checking load securing rarely fails because of the requirements – but because of everyday life.

Minutes are crucial at the ramp. At the same time, manual checks are often time-consuming, subjective, and not always feasible when there is time pressure and a shortage of skilled workers. If defects remain undetected, accidents and high property damage are a risk.

CargoSecuring Assist supports load securing checks with a simple principle:

Take a photo (smartphone/tablet/device) → automatic AI analysis → immediate result + report.

Initial situation: Time pressure at the ramp and high defect rate

Load securing in truck transport is prone to errors: 70% of all vehicles inspected have defects. Under increasing time pressure and with scarce resources, necessary checks are often not carried out with the required precision.

Solution: Automatic load securing check directly in the process

CargoSecuring Assist is an AI-supported load securing check that supports operational teams in rapid assessment – without additional manual checklists “on top.”

Goals in the loading process:

Create awareness: Feedback at the moment of loading – where errors occur.

Automate processes: Objective assessment of securing without time-consuming manual checklists.

Reduce risks: Technological support to sustainably reduce the risk of 16,000 accidents per year caused by inadequate load securing.

How load securing checks work (smartphone/tablet/device)

1. Capture via photo

Take a photo of the cargo area using a smartphone (or tablet) – alternatively, use a permanently installed camera.

2. Automatic AI analysis

Processing of images by the risk analysis engine to identify load beams, straps, and form-fitting.

3. Direct result in the process

Output of an intuitive “correct/incorrect” signal directly to the user.

Result: Digital documentation of load securing (including TMS)

• Protocol instead of paperwork: automated load securing protocol for storage in the Transport Management System (TMS).

• Traceability: the loading status can be traced at any time and is documented in a tamper-proof manner.

• Efficiency: shorter inspection times at the ramp with a simultaneous increase in safety.

Added value in practice

• Early risk detection: kinetic hazards are identified before the vehicle starts moving.

• Support in times of labor shortages: digital assistance even for less experienced teams in the loading process.

• Less effort, better documentation: automated logs reduce the administrative workload in the TMS.
