Team AutoID-Technologies

The identification of objects, such as machines, components, packaging or load carriers, plays an important role in the automation of processes and the acceleration of information flows. At Fraunhofer IML, we develop individual AutoID concepts and offer solutions that can be applied in industrial practice. In doing so, we use mature technologies available on the market (barcode, RFID, localization) that make rapid implementation possible. At the same time, we are able to develop individual solutions such as apps, web applications or industrial image processing tailor-made for our customers. Our know-how comes from a wide range of disciplines: We are computer scientists, logisticians, engineers and economists. This close, interdisciplinary collaboration makes our team vendor-independent experts in the field of tomorrow's logistics.
