The Center Textile Logistics

The Center Textile Logistics is a research cooperation between the Fraunhofer Institute for Material and Logistics in Dortmund and the University for Applied Sciences in Mönchengladbach.

The cooperation bundels the competencies of logistics and clothing technology in order to research and develop textile process and product innovations together with industry. The Center Textile Logistics supports companies on a scientific level. With the help of an interdisciplinary team, the topics of logistics and textiles are brought together.

Prof. Dr. Markus Muschkiet, Professor for Textile Logistics at Hochschule Niederrhein, is head of the center. In order to reach the goal of merging the topics of logistics and textiles, the Center Textile Logistics uses the expertise of the Fraunhofer IML in Dortmund for logistics and the expertise of the Faculty of Textile and Clothing Technology at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences for textiles.
