January 09, 2020

From November 18 to 21, 2019, the 12th "IEEE International Conference on Service Oriented Computing and Applications" (SOCA) took place in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The areas of Service-Oriented Computing include Cloud Computing, Internet-of-Things and CPS.

Sören Kerner introduced the paper "Concept and Implementation of an Adaptive Decentralized Control System for Human-Technology Interaction", which was developed in cooperation with Thomas Kirks, Jana Jost and Tim Uhlott. The paper presents a flexible, modular architecture that enables the integration of humans into Industry 4.0 processes through the mobile agent. It considers RAMI4.0 and the requirements for an administrative shell of an industry 4.0 component. In addition, implementation barriers can be reduced by the using OpenSource libraries.
