The 22nd "IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Conference" (ITSC) took place in Auckland, NZ, from October 27 to 30, 2019. The annual conference deals with all areas related to intelligent transport systems.

The Frauhofer IML was represented by Jana Jost, who introduced the paper "Evaluation of the Application of Smart Glasses for Decentralized Control Systems in Logistics" by Thomas Kirks, Jana Jost, Tim Uhlott, Julian Pütt and Matthias Jakobs. The paper evaluates the suitability of the Microsoft HoloLens AR glasses for localizing humans in logistical processes. The long-term goal is to integrate humans in logistical processes through Wearables and to facilitate the interaction with technology.
