EISMS 2019

August 27, 2019

This year's EICS was the 11th ACM SIGCHI conference on technical interactive computer systems and took place from 17 to 19 June 2019 in Valencia. The annual international conference brings people together who deal with the technology of interactive systems. The presented research works focus on methods to support the development and use of interactive systems.

During the EISMS workshop Thomas Kirks, Jana Jost and Tim Uhlott presented the paper "Integrating Humans in Decentralized Control Systems with Autonomous Transport Vehicles under the Premise and Use of Proxemic Distances". The paper deals with new ways of interaction in human-robot collaboration. The central goal is the integration of humans in multi-agent systems of autonomous transport robots as well as the enhancement of human consciousness through augmented reality.
